Michael Estes MS, ATC:Rehabilitation and Strength SpecialistMichael Estes MSATC is our rehabilitation and strength specialist. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree from OSU in Athletic training and a Master’s degree in Human Physiology from U of O, so we’ve got both the Ducks and Beavers covered! He is also board eligible as a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Many of you may recognize him as he is also the CCHS athletic trainer, where he works with athletes in injury prevention, emergency care and injury rehabilitation. Michael says: “My favorite part of being an athletic trainer is helping people who have had an injury rehab and return to play/life at a higher level than before they were injured. I enjoy teaching people about proper movement and how it can help them avoid injury. I have a special interest in postural correction and ergonomics.”
Michael grew up in Prineville and loves this community. He has always wanted to return to the area and help people. “I am loving being back in Central Oregon and look forward to raising my 3 children in the same town my wife and I grew up in.”
At Slater Chiropractic, he will work with our team of Chiropractors, Massage therapists and assistants in working not only with our local athletes of all levels but many of our patients with chronic or recurring injuries and pain.
As part of our patient focused team approach, we can help with back and neck pain, MVC and Work injuries, post-surgical rehab and general strength and conditioning. Michael will do in office treatment, exercise and rehabilitation, as well as developing home programs with an emphasis in ergonomic and postural correction. He will also be our specialist in Graston technique instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.

Elizabeth RauschLicensed Massage Therapist 18486Slater Chiropractic would like to welcome our new massage therapist Elizabeth Rausch to Prineville. Elizabeth started massage school right after high school and she received her Oregon massage license in the fall of 2011. Her favorite massage technique is deep tissue and myofascial release. Elizabeth was born and raised in Bend and still lives locally to be close to friends and family. She worked for two years at a spa and for a chiropractor in Bend before coming to Slater Chiropractic. Some of her hobbies include kayaking, sewing and needle point. In the past she has enjoyed Tae Kwon Do and also Belegarth which is foam weapon fighting sport.
