Crook County High School Fund Run 5k/10k/2k

Dr. Slater, Dr. Crampton, and Brady Slater took part in this years fund run for the local track team. Brady and Dr. C ran the 10k and Dr. Slater ran the 5k. On this first day in May it was mighty windy and cold for an early morning run in Prineville. Congratulations to all three for finishing and especially to Brady for finishing 2nd overall on the 10k.

Pole, Pedal, Paddle

Dr. Crampton participated in this years PPP in Bend on a 2 man team which included local acupuncturist Sandra Curry. The PPP is a 6 event relay race which you can compete on a 1-2-3-or-more person team. The race consists of downhill skiing, cross country skiing, cycling, running, kayaking, and a sprint to the finish, starting at Mt. Bachelor and ending at the Les Schwab amphitheater. This was a great race and one of the most fun! The hardest part was the kayaking leg, going up stream and fighting the wind was very hard to say the least. But the finish was oh so sweet.

Bungee Jumping
May 2010
Dr. Slater and his 2 older sons went bungee jumping this spring off of the old Crooked River Bridge just outside of Terrebonne. He needed 2 weeks worth of treatment with Dr. Crampton after this great adventure!
CPR Re-certification/Training

Our entire clinic attended a CPR class taught at our local fire station by Jerimiah Kenfield. He did a great job and we had a great time learning and getting certified in CPR. And yes, we all passed with flying colors!
Splash n’ Dash
July 4th, 2010
This years Splash n’ Dash was a great time. This was our second year doing this event with the same team. Dr. Slater, his two boys (Conner and Brady) and Dr. Crampton. We placed 3rd overall and 1st in the Business class with a time of 1 hour and 34 minutes. The Splash n’ Dash is a 4 event race that consists of; Swim (500m), Bike(11 mile), Kayak(1.5 mile), Run(4 mile). Conner swam, then handed off to Dr. Crampton for the bike, who then handed off to Dr. Slater for the kayak down the Crooked River, and Brady brought us home to the finish line on the run. Next year we are aiming for 1st!!
