Our office strives to provide the highest quality health care in a gentle, safe and pleasant environment. Our philosophy is to utilize the body's own healing power, to encourage proper diet and exercise, and use nutritional supplementation as needed to prevent the need for drugs and surgery whenever possible. Our primary goal is to help you regain optimal health and then maintain your health for many years to come!

    Office Manager, Billing Manager
    Chris Johnston grew up in Southern Oregon and moved to Prineville with her family in 1988.Realizing she had a passion for music, she has been studying, writing and composing for over 25 years now. If not playing her guitar with her family or other musicians and friends, Chris and her husband spend much of their time keeping track of their four children's very active schedules and taking care of their two adorable puppies. Camping, boating, tennis and hiking with friends and family are just a few of the many hobbies that Chris enjoys outside of work; not to mention the latest project of personally remodeling their home!

    With over eight years of experience as an office manager, Chris is a great asset to Slater Chiropractic. She joined the team the summer of 2007 and has shown she has a well rounded and diversified sense of how to effectively manage a very busy office. Ranging from the technological aspects of the job to human resources, Chris brings an experienced perspective to her work. Chris was drawn to the compassionate and caring environment at Slater Chiropractic and loves that she can go to work and feel right at home while assisting in giving back to the health of people in the community. She looks forward to working with you and welcomes any questions you may have as a current or future patient at Slater Chiropractic.

  • Savannah Turpin
    Certified Chiropractic Assistant

    Savannah joined the Slater Chiropractic team in 2017. She completed the Physical Therapy Assistant program in 2008 beginning her journey in the therapeutic field. Following her passion she completed her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and has been in the rehabilitative field ever since. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, horses, dog, and many outdoor activities.
