Spinal Decompression

A gentle, non-surgical traction therapy for lasting relief from neck and back pain.

How it works

Relieving pressure, restoring healing

Spinal decompression uses our decompression tables to gently stretch the spine, taking pressure off compressed discs and nerves. This creates a negative pressure within the disc that can help retract herniated or bulging disc material and draw in fluids, nutrients, and oxygen needed for healing. It’s a comfortable, non-invasive alternative for patients dealing with neck pain, lower back pain, pain radiating into the arms or legs, and sciatica.

Who it helps

Conditions decompression therapy can address

Disc Herniations

Gentle traction reduces pressure on herniated or bulging discs, creating space for healing and reducing nerve irritation.

Sciatica

By relieving pressure on compressed nerve roots, decompression can ease the radiating pain, numbness, and tingling associated with sciatica.

Degenerative Conditions

Decompression therapy improves circulation and hydration to the discs, helping manage degenerative disc disease and slow further wear.

Chronic Neck & Back Pain

For patients who haven’t found relief with other conservative care, decompression offers a gentle, drug-free option worth trying.

What to expect

Your decompression visit

You’ll lie comfortably on our decompression table while a controlled, gentle pulling force is applied and released in cycles. Most patients find the treatment relaxing, and sessions typically last 15–20 minutes. A treatment plan is built around your specific condition and may be combined with chiropractic adjustments, physiotherapy, or corrective exercises for the best results.
